Ten years ago, a small team of therapists, teachers, designers, and engineers set out to explore how inclusive tech could empower learners of all abilities. That journey led us here, to being named Inclusive Technology of the Year at the nasen Awards 2025.
The NASEN Awards are organised by the National Association for Special Educational Needs, the UK’s leading charity supporting inclusion in education. From over 400 nominations and 40+ in our category, this recognition means so much more than an award.
- And while our name is on it, it doesn’t belong to us alone.
- Because Cosmo doesn’t exist in isolation.
- To the teacher who stayed back after class to try one more activity. To the therapist who kept adjusting until something clicked. To the parent who looked for small wins and built on them.
- And the learners who show us, every day, that progress does not need to look one way to matter.
- This is for you.
We’ve always believed that inclusive learning isn’t about adding more tools. It’s about creating the right ones. Tools that are simple, adaptable, and genuinely helpful. Seeing that vision recognised at a national level reminds us how far this community has come and how much further we can go together.
And the only way to do that is by building with you, not for you.
