How do you use Cosmo at your organisation?
We used the Cosmo to get students more involved in the lesson Using the Storytelling activity during storytime
What was the aim of the conducted activity?
Allowing students to engage with and have some control over the lesson about our topic at the time. Encouraging students to work together.
How was Cosmo used?
We used the Cosmo during story time on the theme of our topic for the term. Students were encouraged to press the cosmoid when it was their turn, and to work together to finish the story.
Students also used the cause and effect activities on Cosmo to help with regulation
How did pupils respond?
The students were engaged and focused on the lesson, and were more excited to work with their friends instead of on their own.
For regulation, the activities were able to help students calm their minds and bodies so they were ready to join in lessons
What worked best?
The bright colours, easy to use cosmo dots and interactive activities worked great for keeping the students engaged and excited for the lesson
