SEND Classroom

Designed for every learner to take part, grow and feel proud

How Cosmo fits into a SEND classroom

Cosmo brings multi sensory, play centred learning to daily sessions. The Dots respond to touch with light, sound and clear feedback, helping learners understand cause and effect and stay engaged. The app includes ready made activities that support communication, cognition, motor skills, regulation and group work.

Cosmo does not replace your teaching. It strengthens it. It keeps learners focused, lowers anxiety through predictable feedback and makes participation possible for every child.

Designed with teachers and therapists, every activity supports real learning goals. The system is simple, practical and built for the daily realities of a SEND classroom.

How Cosmo makes it easier

Quick set up

Open the app. Place the Dots. Start. Activities are ready made and easy to adapt.

Solo or Group

You can use Cosmo for one or many learners.
It suits circle time, morning routines, structured sessions, and transitions.

Adapts to different needs

Activities adjust with simple controls for difficulty, timing, number of steps, distractions, and colour.

Supports multiple goals

You can work on regulation, communication, and cognitive aims within the same activity.

Reduces anxious behaviour

Cosmo gives predictable feedback, which helps many SEND learners feel more in control.

Measurable progress without extra workload

This helps with IEP evidence and teacher assessments.

Especially for SEND learners

Real engagement is what creates learning. When learners engage, they remember. When they remember, they learn. When they learn, they grow.

Cosmo creates those moments by giving instant, predictable feedback and clear steps to follow. This reduces frustration, builds confidence and helps learners feel safe to try, repeat and succeed.

Swiss Cottage School

Cosmo aligns beautifully with the aims of our curriculum.
We use it to support communication goals, number fluency, emotional regulation, and physical development.

The fact that I can adjust difficulty, colour use, and timing allows me to scaffold tasks for very different needs without stopping the session.

One example is our daily regulation routine. A learner who usually avoids group activity now leads the rest of the class using Cosmo’s reaction activities. The structure helps him stay calm and engaged, and his confidence has grown across the term. Cosmo has made inclusion practical and achievable for mixed ability groups.
